Hi JessS19,
Let me expand a bit.
I have a Google Home Max display and a bunch of devices that use Chromecast audio. I linked my paid Spotify account to Google Home so I can say something like "Hey Google, play xxxx sound on Spotify on yyyy speaker" and voila music comes out my yyyy speaker.
To do this, I had to enter my Spotify username and password in Google Home (to the link devices). While this could give Google complete access to my Spotify account, I am not too concerned that Google knows what songs I play.
I now have an Apple Music subscription and I want to link that to Google Home.
My concern is that giving Google my Apple ID and password (assuming that's how it works) gives Google complete access to "everything Apple" that I can normally access by signing into my iCloud account.
Does anyone know if this is actually how the Google-to-Apple link works, our does Apple limit access by Google to JUST my music on Apple Music. Hopefully I am being a bit paranoid here, but I want to understand how this link (ie relationship) works.
