Wildone ~ It's very unlikely that an iPhone 8 Plus with 97% max capacity is its original battery.

Did you buy that iPhone from a reputable source? ...Bought new, used or refurbished? ...How long ago?

This is caused by having your phone plugged in charging for too long when it’s already 100 percent. Try not to do that it does majorly damage your device. If you have AppleCare or an Apple Warranty for your phone bring it to your closest Apple store and they will take care of it. If not buy a new one and don’t charge it for too long

Have you been able to have this issue fixed? My iphone 8 plus is doing the same thing.

Mine is the same, after installing Brawl Stars for my kids, I deinstalled it the next day, however the phone is constantly draining battery and slightly warmer. Any info guys?
