It’s been a few days since ios26 upgrade to my 15pro. Battery drains very fast and every now and then it heats up big time, and the battery drains even faster.

Depending on how much data you have on your phone, it can take several days for your phone to finish indexing the millions upon millions of bytes of data on the phone. And while it's doing that, you're likely using the phone as you normally would. That generates heat and the battery will deplete faster. After you updated your iPhone, did you Force Restart? I Force Restart my iPhone after EVERY iOS update, and have never had an issue. Do this now and see if it helps (also do this after every iOS update going forward) --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
