I am still running Sierra on my Mac and want to update to Ventura.
I still want to continue using iPhotos which works fine at the moment.
Will it still be there and work after the update?

As mentioned iPhoto does not run on Ventura however the Photos app will convert your iPhoto library to run on Photos so you don't lose any of your Photos. If you need any help with that process, please give AppleCare a call ( AppleCare Contact Info) and they will walk you through it.

No. iPhoto will not work on macOS Catalina or later.
Photos is the replacement from Apple.
Make sure to convert your Photos Library while still on Sierra. Ventura has greatly limited the ability to create a Photos Library from an iPhotos one.
