MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
Hey there brysantos6,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.
To get started, is this bar only appearing in the app you're currently working with, or does it remain on the display when using all apps including on the desktop? If the bar remains on the display with all apps, try restarting your MacBook with the steps shown here: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
Restart your Mac
* On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Restart.
* If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.”
If the bar remains after restarting, or returns shortly after restarting, try and take note of what you're doing before the bar appeared. This may provide some indication of what could be causing the issue.
You could also try testing the issue in safe mode. This can help determine if the issue is caused by some software that has loaded when starting your MacBook up. For steps on how to boot into safe mode, and what to do if the issue does or doesn't occur in safe mode, check out this next link here: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Keep us updated on what you find.
Best regards.
