Pop up SPAM windows on Ventura.

Recently I have been seeing small pop up SPAM windows in the top right corner of my screen.

They are warning of some dire infection and go away before I have time to take a screen shot.

I’ve looked at all the usual locations, but I am unable to find the source of this infection and delete it.

Any suggestions?

What you're seeing is Notification spam. Seems to be what all the kids are doing these days.

Open Safari's settings. Click on the Websites tab. Scroll down to, and click on Notifications in the left column. You will very likely see a Notification in the right panel with an Apple System Settings icon. Remove it.
