Hotspot with kindle

Following up on Using hotspot with kindle e-reader - Apple Community

I had the same issue. Turning on and off both devices didn't help.

SOLUTION: I've changed the password to numeric only and then the kindle could connect. Maybe password change in itself will help also

Can’t connect Kindle Paperwhite I have an iPhone XR and cannot connect my Kindle using the personal hotspot on my phone. Suggestions on how to fix? Thanks.

How to change Hotspot password to my own? I wanted to change the password to my own but every time I go back to the menu it randomly gives me a new password. Probably you are not satisfied with the answer given in the link that you posted.

Try forgetting the WiFi Hotspot and connect again.
Check if your iPhone has strong cellular signal
Also find out if the data plan on your SIM is not exhausted

Hotspot is carrier specific feature --> Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you
