My whatsapp and my iphone do not backup please kindly advise me

Did you already check the free space in iCloud? As WhatsApp uses iCloud to back up the data, WhatsApp has to be able to access iCloud Drive.If iCloud Drive is disabled, the App can't back up.
Also check the error message given, if you open the internal settings in WhatsApp.
