Help urgently dropped phone and i turn it on the apple logo flashes and goes off and repeats when on charge

hi i recently dropped my iphone 7 on charge and i turned it on the screen has a light mark on it and i turned it on the apple logo shows (flashes) and turns off i need it because i got new iphone and i need to transfer everything over using the iphone 7 and my dad took it to the repair shop and said its a software issue and they changed the motherboard and it didnt work thats what they said but since phone has updated to the ios it can up to which is not ios 16 and has been working fine

If a repair shop “changed the motherboard”, there is no data to recover. The chips that contain the storage memory are on the motherboard…

You can transfer the data to a new phone by restoring from a backup:

Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

That’s because it is broken.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or take it to your local authorized service provider. It will most likely have to be replaced.

but would you know why my phone is doing this also just asked my dad the guy didnt take it but he couldnt fix he said i mean his shop was rated 1 star lol but would you know what the problem is by any chance thanks
