smart folder from search

Hello, There was option to create smart folder from search in macOS Mail application using + button.

From some versions of macOS up to last one that option does not work. Plus button still exist but it has a grey colour and no reaction.

Smart folders aren't searching specific locations I'm baffled. If I create a Smart Folder to search for say PDF files, it works fine if I select "This Mac", but as soon as I select a specific location such as my Documents folder (which absolutely contains PDF files), nothing shows up. What's going on? I've tried this with various locations and am absolutely certain the search criteria should be fulfilled. See screenshots attached. Here it is working fine when searching "This Mac": ... and here I've selected my Documents folder not showing results:

How to get Finder 'search results' to identify the *folder* the search hits are in? When I run a search in the Finder (OS Mojave 10.14.3), the results don't show 'folder location' for the search 'hits'. I don't see any option to add that as a parameter. Is there one? Thanks.

Search Function In Mail No Longer Finds Mailboxes Ever since I upgraded to macOS Ventura 13.0.1, the search function in MAIL on my MacBook Pro will not find a specific mailbox. For example, from the search tool in the top right of the mail, I search "Lemoore," it will find subjects or attachments with the word "Lemoore," but it will not find a mailbox called "Lemoore - Dr. Smith." Before the upgrade, the search in Apple Mail would find the mailbox, subject, or file that had the keyword search. What am I missing, or is this helpful feature no longer available? Greatly appreciate your input!

Should still be able to access that from the Mail Menu, "Mailbox". Then select either "New Smart Mailbox" or New Smart Mailbox Folder":
