Customise does not appear on my iPad (latest OS) following the no2 instruction. If I go Wallpaper in Settings, again no time widget box appears? I like the idea of all this but don’t seem to be able to get through to step 5. Any suggestions?
Your issue is unclear. Perhaps you refer to Lock Screen customisation?
Unlike iOS16 for iPhone, iPadOS 16 for iPad does not support lock screen customisation. Likewise, the new active Astronomy and Weather Wallpapers are currently exclusive to iOS16.x for iPhone.
Whether or not these features will ever reach iPadOS is known only to Apple.

Thanks, ok, time font not possible on Lock Screen. I’ll stop trying and learn to love the time!
