Voice isolation (and other mic modes) during regular calls

Is there any update as to whether or not mic modes will be available for regular calls?

It's a fantastic feature for FaceTime and nearly all other video conferencing apps, but it seems to be avoided, specifically for regular calls.

It would be great to have both voice isolation and wide spectrum available during regular calls, especially when using headphones.
