relinking proxy media

i'm attempting to relink this proxy media, I know its on my laptop because I see it in finder. but when I try to relink it under (file)-(relink files)-(proxy media) the button that says 'relink files' is greyed out and I can't select it. any suggestions?

That looks like the original file. The file path doesn’t seem to be a proxy file path. Have you made proxies for that clip?
