Redeemed an Apple pencil Gen 2, how to register warrenty?

So i've redeemed an Apple pencil Gen 2 from Grab rewards shop and the customer support told me that i'll have to register the warranty online?

But i have not seen any sites to register the warranty. I do have a physical invoice from the company i redeemed the pencil from.

The pencil was not purchased but was a reward for redeeming points hence do i still have to register the warranty as i tried to check the coverage using the serial number however apple says it cannot verify my purchase date.

The are no methods by which to register your warranty - if you have one. Principally your warranty is with the selling retailer - in addition to which Apple offer a manufacturer’s limited-warranty if you can produce your original sales invoice.

If the Pencil was purchased from Apple or an Apple Authorised Retailer, you would have the required proof of purchase.

As the Pencil wasn’t “purchased” with an invoice, any warranty that you have will likely only be accessible via whoever supplied the item. Unless you actually unlucky enough to have reason to make a warranty claim - and have to test the warranty claim process - perhaps you needn’t be too concerned.
