Connect Magic Mouse 2 to iPhone 11 Pro

I am trying to connect MM2 with iPhone 11 Pro with Settings - Accessibility - Touch - AssistiveTouch (Tap on) - Devices - Bluetooth Devices and searching for the Magic Mouse 2 after turning it on. It's just that my iPhone isn't able to discover MM2 when it's right next to her and it's been an hour. Am I missing anything? Please assist.

iPhone 14 cannot see Magic Mouse Trying to connect a Magic Mouse to my iPhone 14 following the procedure in support article "How to use a pointer device with AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" and the phone does cannot find my Magic Mouse. Any suggestions? Not really relevant to the question, but my daughter just connected the mouse to her Android phone in two seconds without any trouble whatsoever.
