Wow - I lose my playlist for the £5,000 of albums i have brought on Itunes
So, I have had an iPhone since it came out 12 years ago. I am on my 6th and last iPhone. I want to get the new iPhone 14 but I have found out from Apple support I lose my playlists when I update my phone - their solution - take a screenshot of your playlists and put them back on my new phone!!!
I am NOT talking about an 'Apple music subscription' - I am talking about the £5,000 I have spent on apple music through iTunes. I have maybe 20 playlists - some of them over 20 hours so my screenshots will be over 1000 I would imagine.
I now also have a new iPad and an old iPhone I use as an iPod and my playlists are not appearing on them but all my albums are. I have tried to get them on my desktop computer by connecting my phone to my PC on iTunes thing but Apple has stopped playlists appearing on there so I can't transfer them over that way.
APPLE SOLUTION - "GET A £15 SUBSCRIPTION AND I CAN KEEP THEM!!"
Can anybody help me please? - I've tried looking for apps that might do the job and nothing (again unless I have a subscription on Apple then no problem). I can't even get a subscription for 1 month as I would lose the playlists when I cancel my subscription. Apple doesn't seem to get that every song on the 20 playlists I own!!!!
Why would I want a subscription when I have spent over £5,000's on my albums? Is Apple just seeing me, and people like me, as a cash-cow?
I joined apple music for a 3-month trial (as it was free) and then when i cancelled 2 years ago I lost the playlists I had built for years previously again even though the songs were owned!!
May as well go to Samsung - I can't imagine they would treat a loyal customer like this.
