Hi marge172,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you're trying to cancel your paid Podcast subscription.

We're happy to assist.

We recommend checking out the steps in the section titled "How to manage your Apple Podcasts Subscriptions" from the article here: Get and manage your Apple Podcasts Subscriptions

If you unfollow a podcast in the Apple Podcasts app, it does not cancel your paid subscription.
You can manage your Apple Podcasts Subscriptions on one of your Apple devices.

We’re recommending the steps above because they directly address the issue you initially posted about: you're getting billed for a Podcast you no longer want nor use.

Also, the steps in the link below will help when it comes to requesting a refund.

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple

1. Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."
3. iPhone showing the Report a Problem website where you can request a refund. After you choose Request a refund, choose the reason why you're asking for the refund.
4. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.
5. Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit. If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.

Please do not hesitate to reach back out to us if you have questions or need any additional support.

Cheers!

For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
