How to find lost iPhone?

The accused wanted inth said crime was using Iphone 12. Currently his phone I switched off. However, we have his IMEI number. But we are not finding its location. Can you help us though?

Only the Apple-registered owner of an Apple device can use FindMy to locate the device.
