Matching downloaded apps on all devices

Is there a mechanism to automatically have downloaded apps on multiple devices always be the same? I understand the one in Settings > App Store > App Downloads, but wonder if there’s a way to delete an app from one device and have it deleted from all? It’s a really frustrating exercise to go through them one by one!
