updated to 10s 16 on my iphone 13. now my bt headphones won't connect. They are bt200 and have telephone, volume, forward, reverse options in addition to on off button

Are bt200 headphones (SENTRY) incompatible with ios 16? If so, is there a button sequence on headphones to update the headphone software to become compatible?

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Hello fonyphone,

If your Bluetooth headphones won't connect to your iPhone, please check out the information and suggestions in this link, which can help with Bluetooth connection issues: If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone or iPad

Try these steps first

To get help pairing a Bluetooth accessory, like a wireless keyboard, to your iOS or iPadOS device:

1. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory and iOS or iPadOS device are close to each other.
2. Turn your Bluetooth accessory off and back on again.
3. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If your accessory uses batteries, see if they need to be replaced.
4. If there's an app that you use with the Bluetooth accessory, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth on your iOS or iPadOS device, and make sure that you've turned on Bluetooth for the app.

Thank you!

Thank you so much. Had tried all of the above and called manufacturer who basically said device can not update to new software on iPhone and will mail me new headphones. So if this happens, it’s fabulous customer service. Haven’t received any acknowledgement, but I will wait until about April 10 before I follow up. He told me two to three weeks and seemed sincere.
