Is there a way to download and install this security update offline?

I have Mac that is not connected to the internet. I would still like to download and install security patches for it. Is there a way to download the updates to disc and install them offline?

VMware, macOS 12.6

Apple stopped providing individual update/patch downloads with macOS 10.15 Catalina. All Apple updates with macOS 11.x+ is done through the Software Update System Preferences/Settings.

There is a command line utility, "softwareupdate", which can download some macOS pieces, but I don't know if this applies to individual OS updates. See this article for some details and examples...while the article shows the option for installing updates, you can try replacing the "-i" for install, with "-d" for download only.

AFAIK, this is the only possible option.

It won't return anything unless there are new updates available. If the Software Update System Preferences/Settings shows available updates, then it should theoretically show something. If not, then there is no way to gather those updates outside of the Software Update System Preferences/Settings app which get installed automatically.
