I am not follow the process for iphone 8 iOS updating to ios 16 an not able to follow the instructions.
Not able to connect to itunes (using windows computer) and fine device update icon.

On a Windows PC, open the iTunes app, click the button resembling an iPhone near the top left of the iTunes window, then click Summary.
Note: Make sure that your PC is running the latest version of iTunes. See the Apple Support article Update to the latest version of iTunes.
