MacBook Pro stuck in target disk mode

I was trying to factory reset my macbook to give to my son and I put it somthing called "target Disk mode". I cant do anything to make it stop it has been going for 20 hours now. What do I do?d

Power it off with the power button.

When you restart, Target Disk Mode will be cancelled and it will start normally:
