Final Cut Pro Crashing

I am experiencing near continuous crashing of FCP. I have reset the preferences and cleared generated event files. This freed up space but the crashing has continued.

I am in the midst of a major project and would appreciate any suggestions. FCP is basically unusable at this point.

Thanks

This system extension was installed by their "Norton Security" application, which may have been dragged to the trash; but this does not remove the system extension.

You need to check with Symantec for how to uninstall their products. You may need to first install it to then completely uninstall; or else do a clean system install.

[Running] SymantecEndpointSecurity - version 9.0.1 (Symantec)

Application: /Applications/Norton Security.app - version 9.0.1 (Not found!)

You have Symantec. Completely uninstall following the developers instructions.

Third party antivirus are not only unnecessary, they cause all sorts of problems, especially with professional applications.

Effective defenses against malware and other threats

/Applications/Toast 18 Titanium/Live Screen Capture.app

[Loaded] Soundflower.kext - com.Cycling74.driver.Soundflower (1.6.7 - SDK 10.7)

Soundflower used to be great, but this version has not worked in a decade or so, and even the very last version, 2.0b2, does not work or is very hard to make to work. Uninstall this and, if you need that sort of functionality, there are current and working alternatives.

You also have the Seagate drive software. Third party drive manufacturer software are not necessary for your mac to use external drives, and can sometimes cause problems.
