Both my iPhone and my wife’s are vintage 8 running IOS 16.3.

Wife can find me to Airdrop and I can receive. I can’t figure out why I can’t send by Airdrop to my wife’s iPhone.

I have tried changing both my and her phone names and updated the contacts on both phones and restarted them both but I still can’t send. Also deleted all of our respective contacts and re-added them but still only working one way from my wife’s iPhone to mine.

Does anyone have any solution that I can try?

I found my problem. Receiving iPhone didn’t have sending iPhones appleID email in my contact info. After adding it problem was fixed.
