Airdrops works only one way

I have problems airdrop between my iPad and iPhone 14 pro ios 17.1 and also: My wife can airdrop to me but on the main time I can not airdrop to her. My iPhone gives a "declined".

Note the 8+ will share to the 8, just not the other way around. Settings for airdrop are the same on both phones as far as I can see. Airdrop only working one way. I have an iPhone 15 pro max and an iPad Pro m2. When I airdrop from my phone to the iPad it works. However if I try to airdrop from my iPad to my phone it just says declined. It doesn’t work.

Why is my iPad not showing accept or decline option for AirDrop from my iPhone? When I airdrop from my iPhone to iPad, I get a prompt telling me I have an airdrop from my phone but no option to accept or decline. I’ve set the iPad airdrop to “everyone for 10 minutes”. The iPad is on iOS 18.5 and the iPhone is on iOS 18.4.1. Any ideas? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Have your wife check settings, she might have receiving off
