Small, upward-facing , arrow in log in password box
This arrow prevented my password from being accepted. I rebooted and the arrow disappeared, allowing me to log in. Any ideas why this arrow appeared?

Hello Handel21,
The symbol you were seeing indicates that caps lock is enabled. As passwords as case sensitive this can make your entry incorrect. Restarting will resolve this issue, however, you can select your caps lock key to remove the indicator as well.
