No hourly option in reminders app

Anyone know how to fix this or have an update here? The hourly option does not appear following the directions in the thread below (copied and pasted)

Did that get removed in subsequent version releases? I updated yesterday to IOS 15.4.1 and there is no hourly option. Help! How can I set a reminder every hour or every 2 hours?

I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.3.1 - no matter how I create a reminder, there’s no hourly option on my end

SOLUTION: must have reminders connected to icloud

Upgrading the Reminders app in iOS 13 or later

Interestingly, I just did create a reminder with an hourly setting. However, I am running iOS 16.x on my 3rd gen iPhone SE ... so this may not answer the reason why you are not able to.

Regardless, I just did the following:

Reminders > Create a new reminder
Tap on the info icon for the new reminder.
Tap on Time.
Set the initial time.
Tap on Repeat.
Tap on Hourly.
Tap on Done.
