Unlock iPad
I have an iPad that used to belong to a company that no longer exists. It was managed by them so is locked. However, as the company no longer exists is there a way to unlock it?

If the device is (was) centrally managed by an MDM platform as described, unless you are very lucky and can delete the management profile directly from the device, then you’re out of luck. In such circumstances, the only way to remove the management profile is with the assistance of the System Administrator that manages the device - as only they can remove the remote management.
Apple will not assist with removal of management profiles from managed devices.
If you are able to remove the management profile, you’ll find it here:
Settings > General > VPN, DNS & Device Management
