Early 2015 MacBook Pro SSD Upgrade
Hey Community.
I have seen a million different posts on upgrading the SSD in an early 2015 MacBook Pro. It sounds simple to do, but confusing with how many options there are. I just want to know what's the best bang for my buck, but I need reliability. I was going to upgrade to Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 and purchase an adapter for it to work on my MacBook. However, I've heard adapters can cause issues, such as when booting from hibernation.
This has lead me to wonder if I am better off purchasing OEM SSD, such as this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275695420950?epid=216133614&hash=item4030ba4616:g:0MoAAOSwRrtkEeMA&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8O%2FxUydOpSl1iZ9Wgsy%2FfhnwpbY0g%2Fhw9zLYwCutcKfvarKiqHU%2FHVQZL16kuJVJ5Su%2B61Ht%2FDfCpGNMETcapu4rJiOYnpEa9AmZsvcqC0NO5tvcZjb8NfroUz8cwpPoy2xNSLPeYhTQzSPlRuPoD4fP8z3eW2oELRQWtOB4a8atukpJOrJgGxH%2FE79QFv%2BMsqmJdtOcFPn9mh06rUi51h6JHMHhD06oYg9%2BWWpOTQhw7z4%2BL10CODt7qI1smWOYdRZcVKauNG1eC9ozhtv1sRTWtyOTJvB19LVf6tCTKJIfgardt9UFneHZ%2BJgoJcgFtw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-bjkNveYQ.
Or is OWC the best option? https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ssd/owc/macbook-pro-retina-display/2013-2014-2015
What do you guys think?
