HomeKit Sharing

I installed a Schlage Lock that I have working with Apple Home. I want to invite my wife so she sees it on Apple Home also. Note I do not see an option in Apple Home to invite anyone to My Home in the Home App.

Through the Schlage App I can send the invite and the invitation shows up in my Apple Home but she never gets it.

Do I need a hub for this to work? It is not clear if I do or not. From what I read, on previous versions of Home a hub is not needed, but the new version it is.

We both have iphone 14 Pro and using latest OS.
