iCloud mail > Custom email domain with Google mail backup

Dear Team,

Subject : Copying gmail to icloud custom email using mail app

Have hosted my custom domain with iCloud mail. Assume email@applecustomdomain.com

Now I have used mail app on my iMac to have two mails configured myemail@gmail.com ( 50 gb ) and email@applecustomdomain.com. ( freshly hosted with iCloud )

Then right clicked on iCloud on my mail app, created new mailbox and created all labels in gmail.

Now in gmail on my mail app, on a label, selected all conversations ( email ) and clicked move to the new mailbox created under iCloud custom email. Activity window shows copying messages and running for more than 10 days.

My question is simple,

1) Could see in mail app > gmail > labels go empty and could see it is moved to mail app > iCloud > new mail box ( folder )

Same time in gmail.com website could see the label is gone empty

Question : Will it move the mail from gmail to iCloud or will it leave a copy on gmail.com and just empty the folder. Because on gmail.com > all mails > could see 2.70 lakh emails not getting reduced.
