Why is my new iPhone 11 Pro indicating charged and not charging, even when I changed my charger?

Hey there onyebuchiuti,

We'd like to help by confirming more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. Does your iPhone stop charging at a specific percentage? If that percentage is 80%, this sounds like expected behavior from a feature called Optimized Battery Charging. You can find more details about this under the section 'If your device stopped charging at 80 percent' here: If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge
  2. If that feature is disabled, and you still have an issue with charging your iPhone even though it's indicating that it's plugged into the charger, does the same issue occur if you test a different charging cable/power adapter?
  3. When did this start to occur?
  4. What does the battery health percentage show under Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging?
  5. Since you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!
