Apple Watch Stand Option
Surely there is a way to program my watch to only remind me to stand from say 7am to 9pm. From my reading that is not possible, it is either off or on for 24 hours. Is this correct. Thanks

Greetings how-2,
You can change your Stand Goal using these steps:
Tap to increase or decrease the number of hours for your daily Stand goal, then tap Ok." Change your goals on your Apple Watch
We hope this helps to answer your question!
Best wishes.
yes its only a short time.
Using sleep monitoring causes untold problems and I like to give my skin an 8 hours breather
In practice the target number if times to stand up is set by default to 12. It will wait for you to sit at a desk or the TV for an hour and then ask you to stand and move for 3 minutes. If you naturally get up more often it will record that without asking.
As a pensioner pottering about the house I get asked maybe 3 times per day to stand up, usually on the sofa watching TV, but I almost always hit my 12x goal.
BTW It does not expect you to stand for 12 hours like some people ask.
Greetings how-2 🙂
Is your watch telling you to stand during the night, is that why you were asking about setting it for 7am to 9pm?
It shouldn't be telling you to stand while you're asleep. There might be something up with your sleep schedule programming if it is.
Also, the stand time, per hour, is only for 1 minute on my watch.
Hi JessS19
