People available for photo shuffle Lock Screen

I love the idea of photo shuffle for my iPhone lock screen, but it fails me. It provides 9 people to choose from, but it doesn't include one of my children. I find this perplexing because I've taken MANY photos of each of my children with my iPhone, and the iOS Photos app recognizes each of them. Why doesn't the the photo shuffle for lock screen also recognize them?

Lock Screen Photo Shuffle Both my wife and recently upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pros. Her the 15 Pro and myself the 15 pro Max. Our software is identical - iOS 17.0.3. When looking to customize the Lock Screen to shuffle photos, her phone has four categories (People, Pets, Nature, Cities) and mine is missing "Pets". Our photo libraries are pretty similar. Is there any way to get ‘Pets’ on my shuffle category list?

People selection in Photo Shuffle for Lock Screen On my iPhone 14 pro with version iOS 16.5.1, when I go to change the Lock Screen I only see a limited number of people to select. In Photo library, I have 6 people identified and multiple pictures for each one. When I go to add a new Lock Screen and select people I only see the option for 3 of those 6. Originally I had 10, I removed 4 thinking there was some sort of limit but this did not add any of the ‘missing’ people to the People selection in the photo shuffle option… any solutions for this?

The people I want to add to the photo shuffle are already recognized in the Photos app.
