Late 2013 mac how to update to 10.15.0
I need ver 10.15.0 to run some of the apps, yet the app store only had updates to 10.11.6.

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for Catalina. It's a full-version upgrade and won't appear in the Updates list.
Catalina and higher won't run 32-bit software; if you upgrade to one of them, use Go64 as well.
