Incorrect App Store Connect SDK Version Issue email?

Hi there,

We are getting an email containing this every time we upload a build to App Store Connect. It started very suddenly on 17/03/2023 when we had made no changes to our build set up or anything. It is also very confusing because SDK 16 is clearly "later" than SDK 15 so not sure how there is an issue? We automate our build uploads using CircleCi (macos xcode 14 image) and Fastlane. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and whether we need to investigate this or if it is a bug on App Store Connect side? Or if there could be some other underlying issue?

It looks like this is a warning message but the text is out-of-date. According to https://developer.apple.com/ios/submit/, "starting April 2023, all iOS and iPadOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 14.1 and the iOS 16.1 SDK."

Apparently, sometime in April, that will be a fatal message.

If the app uploads, I’d ignore the message. If not, I’d verify the latest Xcode (14.2) is installed, and then contact App Store Support. That does look like a bug on their end, though.

Thanks MrHoffman, yeah it uploads to Testflight fine, the app works fine and it is letting me submit as a release. So I don't see how it can be a real issue
