mouse cannot open files on Mac desktop / or respond on Calendar app

MAC Calendar locked When I open Calendar it says “Updating Calendars”. Once it opens(minutes), it is locked on present month and when I scroll, it moves to a blank page. OS is 11.7.4, 27” iMac, with 48 GB of RAM. Hard drive has 603 GB available. This has been going on for some time.. Suggestions?

Calendar locking issue on Mac OS Sequoia 15.2 I can open Calendar and it looks completely normal. I can edit an event, as long as all I change are the date and alerts. If I try to edit the text, it locks the app. Cannot add a new event, as trying to edit the "New Event" text locks the app. In an attempt to localize the problem to a particular account, I have turned off the account calendars, one by one, until there are none checked. Still cannot add a new event to the calendar. Just started today. Running Mac OS Sequoia 15.2 (24C101). [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How to restore Mac Calendar from BLACK BACKGROUND? Calendar appeared OK earlier in the day; but when opened this evening it's BLACK with WHITE print. I haven't found a fix yet. Is this fixable?

Restart the computer and retest. If you continue to have a problem with the mouse please let us know. Of course, please ensure the mouse has been charged and is working. Also test a wired USB mouse to see if that works.
