HDR Mask Bug FCPX 10.6.5

Editing a video taken on my iPhone 13 Pro in FCPX 10.6.5 When trying to mask clips everything is fine until I add an HDR effect to any of the iPhone 13 Pro video clips. When the HDR effect is applied the bottom half of the screen does not work with the mask. This only occurs when the playhead is not moving, (which is a problem because to frame your shot you need to move the clips around while the playhead isn't moving). When the playhead moves across the effected clips the mask appear normal.

Upon export the bottom half of the screen is missing the mask.
