Why am I not receiving emails
I haven’t been receiving any emails and I really have been on the lookout for one !

Could be any one of many reasons:
Wondering if you:
(1) have been receiving eMails on your iPhone ok up until now,
or
(2) whether you might need to add your eMail providers account details to your iPhone so you begin to receive eMail ok.
A few of many guesses:
Eg: For (1) Your wifi connection, or internet connection, may not be active.
Your iPhone's iOS may need an update
Maybe no-one is sending eMails, preferring Messages, calls etc.
or you haven't sent any eMails, so no one has replied.
