Finder is not calculating size for a folder
I have it set to calculate all sizes. This is latest Ventura update on 2019 iMac

In the Finder menu at the top, select View ❯ Show View Options. Select Calculate all sizes. Then press button, View as Defaults. This can sometimes slow down Finder in very large folders so if that becomes a problem you can disable on a folder by folder basis.
