Iphone14 pro Uconnect receiving calls

I have an IPhone 14 pro and I will be connected to my truck via Uconnect (Ram truck Bluetooth) and music works fine, calling out works fine but for whatever reason when I receive a call and answer it, it will always go back to the phone and not connect via Bluetooth, even if the call interrupts the music I was playing via bluetooth. It’s extremely annoying when I am driving in the mountains and you go to answer and call and now have to fidget with my phone to turn it back into Bluetooth. Just switched from an android and they never had this issue. What am I missing?
