homepod mini music alarm?

Is there really no way through voice (Siri) to set an alarm to music?

For example, using Alexa I can say "Alexa, set an alarm 7:45 AM to Fleetwood Mac". Done.

But trying any similar combo using Siri creates an alarm at 7:45 AM with a label of fleetwood mac, with the default irritating alarm noises.

Or even better, allow me to set a default media/music selection for ALL new alarms?

Yes, you can do it manually by using my iphone, home app, setting a new alarm, and going into play media, etc. but it just seems unfathomable that such a simple task, set an alarm at a specific time, leveraging both siri and apple music is impossible to do?

Yes, i have apple music.

Hi pfbzzz,

As you indicate you're already familiar with the process to do this on your device as described at Use alarms, clocks, and timers:

"Change your alarm sound

You can choose the sound you want to wake up to. Pick an ambient sound, or if you have Apple Music, choose a song, playlist, or radio station.

Note: Siri-enabled accessories cannot play media for an alarm and will instead play a tone.

In the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, touch and hold a HomePod.
Tap an alarm, or tap New to create an alarm.
Tap Play Media, then tap Choose Media.
Navigate to a song, playlist, or radio station, then tap it.
To have the song or playlist repeat once it ends, turn on Repeat.
To have a playlist play in a random order, turn on Shuffle.
To set a custom volume for the alarm, tap Use Custom Volume, then drag the slider.
Tap Done."
