Turn off SIM card on iPhone 12 Mini
When traveling to Spain with my iPhone 12 mini, I will use an eSIM from a local carrier. Can I turn off my US SIM card, or do I have to remove it? Do I need to do this at all?

Unfortunately, I don't have an extra physical SIM card in my iPhone myself, I only use eSIM - so can't test it.
But once you have added your eSIM card, you can look here:
Settings → Cellular → look for the plan connected to your physical SIM card and select Turn Off This Line
If you do NOT have that option, you can take out your physical SIM card or deactivate Data Roaming. However, you will still be able to receive calls and SMS, if you do not want this - then remove the SIM card.
