I am traveling and need to replace my US esim with the physical SIM card that I will use in the country I am in. How do I do that?

I am traveling out of the US and need to replace my e-SIM card on my iPhone 13 with a physical SIM card. How do I deactivate the e-sim while using the physical ( non- US) SIM card

Turn cell data off on the eSIM side and turn off roaming. Then set up the physical SIM (this is assuming your phone is not carrier locked.)
