iPhone does not switch automatically from wifi to cellular internet

Hi, I just upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro from the iPhone 12 Pro. I am having trouble with my cellular internet on the new iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone does not switch automatically from wifi to cellular internet. When I leave the wifi range, I have to restart my iPhone to get cellular internet to start working. Needless to say, this is very annoying to restart my iPhone all of the time. Any recommendations?

Have you tried to enable Wifi Assist option, as per this support article?:--> About Wi-Fi Assist

When done, restart your iPhone.

Having a similar problem, which started about the time I upgraded to 16.3.1. When I leave my house (or other Wi-Fi service) neither Apple Maps nor Pandora will work. Maps will show me the spinning icon, and not bring up the map. Pandora will finish the current song and then stop.

My remedy is to switch to airplane mode and back again. This is annoying (especially while using the maps, as the problem doesn’t occur until after I start driving). But it has worked every time I tried it. Seems like whatever is supposed to seamlessly switch to cell service isn’t doing so.
