I cannot get my watch to sinc with the same time as my iPhone

iPhone X, iOS 14

The watch should get its time info from the paired watch. You can however set a positive offset. Perhaps you have this feature enabled:

  • go to Settings
  • Select Clock
  • +0 min (Using the crown to increase or decrease the time moved forward)

That is correct. You never said if was reading ahead or behind. I assumed the offset may be ahead. I'm not sure what else it could be. Is its off by an integer hour?


Your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. If that is not possible use the online Apple Support option. They have diagnostics that should be able to determine if it is a hardware or software problem. Either way:
