Safari Website Data

How long are entries stored in website data? Does the list grow indefinitely or is data automatically overwritten because there is a limit to how much information can be kept in website data?

What determines the order of the list AFTER size? For example, most of the entries have sizes of 0, so what determines their order among all 0 items?

How long website data is retained will vary by data type. Some cookie data is transient - and is regularly cleared. Other cookies will be automatically cleared upon expiry, or may be cleared when specific conditions are met - some of which will be influenced by iPad settings. Some data will persist until manually cleared.

Presumably you are looking at website data listed within Safari Advanced settings. Here data is listed principally by file size. Zero-byte data isn’t explicitly sorted - the displayed sequence having no obvious significance.
