Start up loop

Hi…

When starting my iMac this morning, I received the following message: “Your computer restarted because of a problem. Press any key or wait a few seconds to continue starting up”. Then, it just keeps looping through the process and coming back to the same message.

I shut down correctly last night.

advice?
