My iPod classic in Finder on my iMac - Ventura 13.2.1 - has been recognised but message on the screen says Software: Loading... and nothing else appears! Any ideas? I've tested the iPod and everything has passed the diagnostic test. Help!

If your iPod won't turn on or seems frozen
iPod classic
1. Move the Hold switch firmly to the off position so that you don't see orange by the switch.
2. Press and hold the Menu button and Center (or Select) button for 8 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo.
